Tube Preamp with Baxandall EQ
Tube preamps don’t get much better than this! Building off of the legacy of the legendary RCA BA-2C preamp, the AT-2B takes the tried and true two-triode topology and inserts a smooth, wide curve baxandall equalizer into the middle of the signal path, resulting in a well-rounded studio workhorse with features modern engineers are accustomed to. Utilizing RCA 6SN7 and 6SL7 tubes and a direct-coupled vintage UTC A25 output transformer provide engineers the rich sonic thickness associated with early RCA records.

CONTROLS:
- INPUT – Variable stepped input padding, pre-input transformer.
- POL – Standard polarity / phase switch
- +48V – Phantom power toggle (up for on!)
- GAIN – Interstage gain adjustment, provides users the ability to push the output tube and transformer to their liking.
- LF – Continuously adjustable low frequency boost / cut, with 3-position toggle switch for selecting cutoff frequency
- HF – Continuously adjustable high frequency boost / cut, with 3-position toggle switch for selecting cutoff frequency
- OUTPUT – Post-output transformer level control for adjusting levels and preventing clipping in following equipment when running signals hot through the preamp for maximum character
