PRO AUDIO

We specialize in vintage pro audio restoration and take on work on a case by case basis. Please email at amptekaudio@gmail.com if you are interested in servicing, restoring or modifying a piece of equipment. Estimates without a piece of equipment open and on the bench can be difficult to give out, so having a small email discussion is helpful to get a scope of intent. The labor rate is $100/hr, with a 1 hour minimum, plus parts and shipping if mailing a unit. We do not work on tape machines currently.

Past work has included Urei, Universal Audio, Langevin, Teletronix, Altec, Gates, Neve, Siemens, RCA, Ampex, Avalon, SSL, Neotek, Trident, Tube-Tech, General Electric, dbx, Tascam, and many… many more.

GUITAR AMPS

Guitar amp repair work is done locally through Rock N Roll Vintage on the northside of Chicago. Emailing here for questions is ok, but ultimately drop-off and pickup is through the retail store. We’ve seen pretty much every Fender, Marshall, Ampeg, Orange, Vox and more.
